If it’s breaking news or you’re in a rush, and the footage being shown on-screen don’t have captions of time, place, persons, scuf3.jpg (photo of ANC footage, rumble. i’m guessing, right outside polling precinct. In Kapai, Lanao del Sur)

etc., it’s easy. The people in the studio should annotate simultaneously as the footage are being shown, as to time, place, persons, and what’s going on. Simultaneously. It’s easy. Just look at the screen and inform; not too much annotation but just enough information.

In Kapay, Lanao del Sur this morning, the PPCRV and Namfrel were not being allowed to watch the voting, only the Kampi and Lakas pollwatchers were being allowed in (there were no GO local candidates there, so there were no pollwatchers from the other side ; although, as I understand it, senatorials can send; anyway.).     All photos are of  footage of ANC. (For academic discussion.) elec.jpg Here, apparently, this took place inside a polling precinct. Here, apparently, this person is an election officer. I’m guessing. The dumdums in the studio were not annotating it. She is apparently an election officer, I’m guessing, because she is holding the folders containing the voters’ records and the ballots.

It’s real easy. Just look at what you’re showing. Then, try to have some thoughts. So you can inform: where, when, why, who, etc., or indicate you will find out.

Those in the studio just repeated what the PPCRV chair said: that the Comelec citizen’s arm (PPCRV and Namfrel) were not being allowed to view what’s going on inside the polling precincts as authorized by the Comelec.).

Photos of ANC footage. elec3.jpg She gathered all the voters records and prepared to leave. She’s emoting. I’m guessing. (“Ako…ako ang election officer dito!”) elec5.jpg Points at citizen’s arm “Hoy ikaw, umalis ka dito, kutong lupa!” (I’m guessing).

  elec2.jpg

elec8.jpg    “Kung ayaw mo umalis, ako ang aalis; walang eleksyon! Ako election officer dito!”

Lanao del Sur has 96,000 voters and a failure of elections had been declared May 14 because the election officers refused to hold elections. Because of the presence of armed thugs daw. (I’m basing this on general information; the dumdums in the studio were not giving any background information about Lanao del Sur).

They are also totally unaware that they are showing footages of conflict on-screen. There is failure to be aware of their surroundings. There is failure to be awake while talking. There is failure to have thoughts.  vol.jpg Here, apparently, this person is a volunteer. And he is being sent out. (“ba’t nyo ko pinapaalis?! Authorized ako ng Comelec! Di ka ba nagbabasa ng dyaryo at ng batas!” I’m guessing)     elec6.jpg But why is the election officer preparing to leave? Refusal to conduct elections again.   vol2.jpg (“Pinaalis ako! Mananagot kayo sa taumbayan! Isusumbong ko kayo!” i’m guessing)  vol3.jpg   (“Ikaw, pinalabas ka na! Ano pa iniingay mo dyan! Kung gusto mo, ako ang aalis! Walang eleksyon!”. i’m guessing)Then, here, a scuffle takes place. scuf.jpg scuf2.jpg “Papasukin nyo ko! Papasukin nyo ko! Open to the public ito!”

More scuffle, kicking and grabbing of each others necks.

scuf3.jpg             I’m guessing, this one was right outside the polling precinct. Then the scuffle becomes a rumble,

Not to worry. The day is still young.

(to the brave volunteers: please take care of our dear Ambassador Tita de Villa and give her some security detail. Thanks.)
